How to find IP address of your MacComputer, MacBook (Mac os)?
Choose the operating system of your computer.
Method 1: Through Control Panel (Recommended)
Step 1
Click the Apple icon, from the Apple drop-down list, select System Preferences.
Step 2
Click the Network icon.
Step 3
In the left column, select Ethernet (for wired connection) or Wi-Fi (for wireless connection). Your IP address will be listed directly
beneath your connection status, in smaller print.
Method 2: Through Command
Step 1 Open the Terminal.
Click in the taskbar, put Terminal in the search bar and select Terminal in the list.
Step 2 Use the ifconfig command.
After we select Terminal, press Return key on your keyboard. Put ifconfig in the command window and press Return key again. Your IP
address will be displayed next to the “inet” entry in et0 or Wi-Fi1.
